Taking It Slow

One of the reasons why our team started sharing the love for block printing and natural fabric apparels to the world is to support the slow fashion movement. We believe that fashion should not be a fad and that beautiful things should last. 

We have been saddened to hear in the news that many of the fast fashion factory workers have to be laid off with the pandemic crisis that has been going on. We do hope that one way or the other, we can help support the makers of our natural block printing. 

It literally takes a village sometimes to create such beautiful pieces of block printing dresses and sarongs/ scarves. Each household, each family has their own roles to play in this creation process. We choose to support the slow fashion makers, because we value the craft and the dedication that they put in. 

We are sending our well wishes out to the makers as well as all of you our customers who make our business possible. 

As you may know, we are running a 10% discount store wide for the Easter Weekend, so that it is easier for our customers to make the decisions to continue to support the printers and the makers who we source our supplies from. And also, we don’t want you to have to think too much or too long to get yourself a piece of something that could maybe brighten up your home space, meditation corner or simply sending a gift to a friend. 

We are all in this together, and we all should be taking it slow. This too shall pass and we will still be here together.
